86th Street Widening; City of Owasso

City of Owasso

Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided engineering design services for the widening and improvement of East 86th Street North between North Main Street and North Garnett Road in Owasso, Oklahoma. The project was developed to address increasing traffic demands and improve safety and mobility within a constrained urban corridor.

Services included topographic and right-of-way survey, utility impact assessment and coordination, roadway and drainage design, traffic analysis, and signal modernization at key intersections. Hudson Prince also supported right-of-way evaluation and acquisition efforts, coordinated with multiple utility owners for anticipated relocations, and developed opinions of probable cost at key design milestones. The design was advanced through ODOT-style submittals, culminating in the preparation of complete Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) in accordance with both City of Owasso and ODOT requirements.

This project demonstrates Hudson Prince’s ability to deliver complex urban roadway widening projects that require careful coordination, phased design development, and context-sensitive solutions to balance capacity improvements with corridor constraints.
