CI 2070 – Seminole County SH-99

ODOT

Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided comprehensive NEPA environmental services for approximately 9.75 miles of improvements along SH-99 in Seminole County, Oklahoma. The project includes widening the corridor through construction of a new southbound alignment, resurfacing the existing roadway, and replacing multiple bridge structures to improve safety and accommodate future traffic demand along this key regional route.

Hudson Prince led the NEPA process, including preparation of environmental documentation and re-evaluation of prior environmental studies, advancing the project through a Documented Categorical Exclusion (DCE). The team coordinated all environmental investigations within the project footprint, including noise analysis, resource evaluations, and Tribal coordination, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

Hudson Prince also developed and implemented a comprehensive public involvement program, including preparation of a Public Involvement Plan, stakeholder outreach, and facilitation of a public meeting. Input received during this process directly influenced project development, including a significant alignment shift to avoid impacts near the Big Wewoka Dam. Through proactive coordination, technical analysis, and stakeholder engagement, Hudson Prince helped guide the project through NEPA clearance and position it for advancement into final design and construction.
