Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided engineering design services for the widening and resurfacing of SH-74 in Logan County, Oklahoma, under JP 34984(04) and (06). The project was developed to improve roadway safety, operational efficiency, and long-term pavement performance along a key regional corridor.
The scope included roadway widening to provide standard shoulder widths, resurfacing of existing driving lanes, and the addition of turn lanes at section line intersections based on traffic and safety data. Improvements also included modifications to access points to reduce conflict locations, intersection enhancements to improve traffic operations, and extension of drainage structures to meet current clear zone and safety requirements.
Hudson Prince supported the development of a comprehensive design that balanced operational improvements with corridor constraints, ensuring compliance with current ODOT design standards. This project demonstrates the firm’s ability to deliver practical, safety-driven solutions that enhance mobility while minimizing impacts to the surrounding environment and infrastructure.
