ODOT

Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection is providing cultural resources and environmental services for a corridor improvement project along US-64 in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, extending approximately 6.4 miles from South Mingo Road east to the Wagoner County line. The project includes grade, drainage, bridge, and surface improvements to enhance safety, capacity, and long-term performance along this heavily traveled regional corridor.

Hudson Prince is leading cultural resources investigations in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and ODOT CRP procedures. Services include background research, records review, archaeological survey, and evaluation of historic-age resources within the project corridor. The team is responsible for assessing NRHP eligibility and preparing documentation for documented cultural resources to support coordination with ODOT, SHPO, and consulting tribes.

In parallel, Hudson Prince is managing the broader NEPA process, including development of the study footprint, preparation of a Categorical Exclusion (CE), and execution of biological, hazardous materials, and farmland impact studies. The team is also coordinating property owner notifications, tribal consultation, and agency coordination, while working closely with the design team to identify and avoid potential impacts. With environmental clearance targeted to support upcoming project phases, Hudson Prince’s integrated approach is helping advance this complex corridor improvement efficiently.
