Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided multidisciplinary engineering design services for the EW-110 Road project in Ottawa County, Oklahoma, on behalf of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. The project included the development of approximately 1.3 miles of new and reconstructed roadway to provide improved access to a growing residential housing area.

The corridor consisted primarily of new alignment through previously undeveloped terrain, transitioning from dirt and vegetated areas to a fully paved roadway designed to meet applicable roadway standards. Services included geotechnical investigation, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage design, bridge design, environmental coordination, right-of-way support, and utility coordination.

The project required detailed hydraulic analysis due to multiple stream crossings within FEMA Zone A floodplains, with design solutions developed to ensure no-rise conditions and regulatory compliance. Additional improvements included geometric corrections, roadway widening, and incorporation of appropriate safety clear zones. This project highlights Hudson Prince’s ability to deliver comprehensive roadway solutions in greenfield environments while addressing complex hydraulic and environmental constraints.
