Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided engineering design services for capacity and access improvements along East Grand Avenue in Chickasha, Oklahoma, beginning at US-81/4th Street and extending approximately 0.25 miles east. The project was developed to improve traffic operations and access management along this minor arterial corridor.
Services included roadway and drainage design, traffic analysis, access evaluation, and preparation of complete Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E). Key improvements included the addition of an eastbound travel lane, installation of a left-turn lane to serve commercial access, modification and consolidation of existing driveways, completion of a signal warrant study, and localized drainage enhancements. Right-of-way and utility impacts were evaluated and incorporated into the design to support constructability and minimize disruptions.
This project highlights Hudson Prince’s ability to deliver targeted corridor improvements that enhance traffic flow, improve safety, and support local economic activity through thoughtful access management and design.
