Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided civil design services for the Greeley Wind Project, a utility-scale renewable energy development located in Greeley County, Nebraska. The project includes a wind farm, substation, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) facility, requiring coordinated design to support turbine installation, heavy equipment access, and long-term operations.
Hudson Prince developed a comprehensive set of civil construction plans, including access road layouts, grading plans, turbine pad geometry, laydown yard design, and O&M facility site plans. Additional services included hydraulic design for culvert crossings, erosion control best management practices (BMPs), and preparation of detailed construction documentation to support constructability and efficient site development.
Through coordination with survey data and project stakeholders, Hudson Prince delivered a design that accommodates the unique logistical demands of wind energy construction, including crane access and material transport, while optimizing site drainage and operational efficiency. This project highlights Hudson Prince’s ability to support large-scale renewable energy developments through practical, constructible civil design solutions.
