Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided environmental compliance services during construction for the widening of the John Kilpatrick Turnpike (JKT) from Eastern Avenue to I-35 in Oklahoma County, a 3.45-mile corridor improvement delivered as part of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority’s ACCESS Oklahoma Program. The project included mainline widening, ramp improvements, and phased construction within a high-traffic corridor requiring continuous operations.
Hudson Prince supported construction through proactive environmental compliance oversight, including bi-weekly inspections to ensure adherence to stormwater regulations and erosion and sediment control requirements. The team coordinated closely with the contractor and construction management staff to address compliance issues in real time, balancing regulatory requirements with the project’s accelerated schedule, traffic control constraints, and lane rental provisions.
In addition to field inspections, Hudson Prince provided documentation, reporting, and permit compliance support. Through consistent field presence and communication with OTA and project stakeholders, Hudson Prince helped maintain compliance while supporting efficient project delivery.
