Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection supported utility coordination and project delivery for a $59 million interchange improvement project at the I-40 and I-40 Business (I-40B) West junction in Clinton, Oklahoma. This large-scale effort included improvements across thirteen alignments and seven bridge structures, requiring extensive coordination across a complex transportation network.
The project presented significant challenges, including constrained right-of-way, extensive storm sewer infrastructure, and multiple new alignments requiring relocation of existing utilities. Hudson Prince coordinated with numerous utility owners, including gas, fiber optic, electric, municipal water and sewer, and private waterline providers, to identify conflicts and develop relocation strategies aligned with the project design and construction phasing.
Through proactive coordination, detailed planning, and continuous communication with stakeholders, Hudson Prince helped facilitate timely utility relocations and minimize impacts to construction activities. Their efforts supported efficient project progression and contributed to the successful delivery of this complex interchange improvement.
