Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided utility coordination and support services for a $42.5 million interchange improvement project at I-35 and Waterloo Road in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. The project includes construction of a diverging diamond interchange and associated roadway improvements along Waterloo Road from Sooner Road east to Cowbell Creek.
The project required coordination within a rapidly developing corridor and involved complex design geometry, multiple utility conflicts, and high-traffic conditions. Hudson Prince worked closely with design teams and utility owners to identify and address conflicts, including coordination around two 16-inch petroleum pipelines with prior rights crossing I-35.
Additional coordination efforts included relocation of natural gas, water, electric, and telecommunications infrastructure. Hudson Prince’s ability to manage utility conflicts in a constrained and evolving environment helped reduce risk, support design decisions, and maintain project schedule on this high-profile interchange project.
