SH-20 & Flint Road Interchange

ODOT

Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided environmental compliance services during construction for the SH-20 and Flint Road interchange improvements along the Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44) near Claremore, Oklahoma. This $64 million project included approximately 7.2 miles of roadway and bridge improvements, requiring coordination across ODOT, the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA), contractors, and multiple stakeholders within an active interstate corridor.

Prior to construction, Hudson Prince participated in prework coordination to establish environmental compliance procedures, including review of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), confirmation of contractor responsibilities, and identification of project-specific environmental constraints such as protected species, waterways, and flood-prone areas. These early efforts supported a proactive approach to compliance throughout construction.

During construction, Hudson Prince conducted routine SWPPP inspections, including weekly and post-rainfall evaluations, to verify proper installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment controls. The team documented findings, coordinated corrective actions with the contractor and Resident Engineer, and maintained organized project documentation to support compliance.
