Turner Turnpike in Creek County

Oklahoma Turnpike Authority

Hudson Prince Engineering & Inspection provided environmental compliance services during construction for improvements to the Turner Turnpike in Creek County, Oklahoma, as part of the ACCESS Oklahoma Program. The project included interchange improvements, pavement widening, and reconstruction along a heavily traveled corridor requiring phased construction and continuous traffic operations.

Hudson Prince participated in preconstruction coordination to establish environmental compliance procedures, including stormwater permitting requirements, inspection protocols, and contractor responsibilities for compliance with environmental commitments. Early coordination also addressed environmentally sensitive features such as aquatic resources and staging constraints to minimize impacts during construction.

During construction, Hudson Prince conducted routine SWPPP inspections and compliance monitoring, documenting site conditions and coordinating recommended corrective actions with the contractor and project team. The team ensured environmental commitments were implemented and maintained throughout construction while supporting complex traffic control and construction sequencing. Hudson Prince also assisted with final stabilization and permit closeout, helping ensure regulatory compliance through project completion.
